Geography

Our curriculum equips pupils with knowledge about diverse places, people, resources and natural and human environments, together with a deep understanding of the Earth's key physical and human features. A range of geographical skills are taught and developed throughout the key stages including: map work; analysis of data and interpreting information.

In a society that is becoming increasingly globalised, we feel it is crucial that pupils have an excellent understanding of the diversity of customs, cultures and traditions within our locality, the United Kingdom and the world. At the core of our geography curriculum is a respect for others and an understanding of our responsibility as global citizens.
